If something goes wrong, we will do our best to make it right!
STYLE AND SIZE CHANGES
If you made a mistake in your order, please notify us of the requested change as soon as possible. The production of your order often will begin on the same day you placed the order and we are only able to make changes to your order prior to production. Send us an email with your order number in the subject line and any changes in the body. We’ll get back to you as quickly as we can, and if possible, make those changes happen.
ADDRESS CHANGES
If you need to change the shipping address, please send us an email with your order number, the current shipping address, and the address that you would like to change it to. We can change the address up until your order leaves our facility. Once it has left our facility we are unable to make changes and it will be your responsibility to reach out to the carrier to arrange for an address change.
CANCELLATIONS
If you would like to cancel your order, send us an email with your order number and the reason of the cancellation, and we will do our best to catch it before it heads to production. This is time sensitive because the merch you order is one-of-a-kind and made just for you, once in production we are unable to cancel your order.
RETURNS
If you want to return and exchange an item, please contact us. Send us an email with your order number in the subject line and the reason for the return in the body. This is where high quality photos come in handy, as true crime fans we know that you love evidence. We accept returns within 21 days of delivery. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags attached. You will be responsible for shipping the item back via a tracked mail carrier. We do not reimburse for the postage required to return product that is not damaged or incorrect.
In the unlikely event that you do receive the wrong product or that the product is damaged, we will be happy to provide a replacement at no cost to you.
If you would like to return an item, please email us at buriedmotives@gmail.com to arrange the return. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where refunds can not be granted:
- Digital downloads
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Intimates or sanitary goods
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. It is possible that it may take an additional 7-10 business days from the date you receive this email for the funds to be available in your account and it may take an additional billing cycle to see the funds on your billing statement.
All refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment. Shipping costs are not refundable.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at buriedmotives@gmail.com.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are final sale.
