In 2017, Pelly Crossing was the site of the brutal killing of Derek Edwards, carried out by a pair of dirtbag sisters, Charabelle and Lynzee Silverfox. Errors in the investigation led to the two sisters initially getting off of first-degree murder charges, and sadly, resulted in a second murder; that of Chelsey Bien. Both sisters would use the trauma that they experienced as children as a defense for their horrible actions. Is there any trauma that can excuse murder?
