In 2018, Carol Sharrow, in a delusional state, drove out on to the Goodall Park baseball field in the middle of a little league game. Her actions would take the life of grandfather, Douglas Parkhurst, who died while pushing children out of the way. But his hero status would quickly take a dark turn when a secret from the past revealed that he too was a dirtbag. The deadly consequences of Carol’s actions would be viewed by many as fate intervening in the scales of justice for Carolee Ashby.
